Sail Goddess Athena - St. John, USVI

Why Choose Us?

We know there are many charter boats available in the Virgin Islands. So, why choose Goddess Athena?

Goddess Athena has been the 'Queen of the Fleet' for over 40 years, beginning her career in the British Virgin Islands as a term charter yacht; we now offer her as a day and overnight excursion yacht.

Designed by naval architect David Dana, grandson of famed seafaring author Richard Henry Dana, Jr. (Two Years Before the Mast) Goddess Athena was custom built in 1969 for Caribbean sailing by William Rudolph in Miami, Florida.

Her 84' of classic lines continue to grace any harbor.

Goddess Athena affords comfortable cockpit seating for 8-10 guests, deck house seating for 16 guests and vast deck areas for lounging in the sun.

Below deck, her spacious saloon is complimented by a massive mahogany table and seating for 10 guests. However, the number of guests is limited for your cruising pleasure.

Goddess Athena is a sailing thoroughbred, having participated in numerous yacht races and has been a 5 time winner of her class in 'Yachts over 60 feet' at Foxy's Wooden Boat Regatta held at Jost Van Dyke, British Virgin Islands.

Imagine the thrill of sailing as Goddess Athena, parting the waves with her sleek clipper bow, deftly moves all 80,000 lbs. of her through seas that could challenge other charter vessels.

With Goddess Athena you get so much more; personal space, yacht heritage, and a classic ship without the corresponding increase in fare.

So, why settle for anything other than Goddess Athena?

Set sail with us today aboard Goddess Athena and experience our gorgeous islands and beautiful outlying rocks and cays first hand. Join us on a voyage to those magical places accessible only by sea.

Each and every destination we'll share with you well be carefully selected to assure the safety and comfort of our guests.
